Tickets, Tickets and more Tickets!

Dear Editor,

Do you have a paid police department in your town? I mean one that has a commissioner, a police chief and the whole works. So, if you have all that personnel, you could leave your home for at least five or six hours and still feel safe.

Forget it - here the police force is busy with cars. Is your car parked perfectly, not in a no-parking zone? Did your quarter run out on the parking meter? Have you got your seat belt hooked? Don't forget the speed regulations; 25 mph, 30, 35, 40, 45 or 50-55 mph and 60 mph and up on the turnpike.

Don't forget... If your car breaks down on the turnpike, you can't call your own serviceman to help you or tow you off. You must use the official tow company to tow you off and then the driver takes you to his own service center. The cost to you is about $150 before he does anything.

So what happened to your home protection? Forget it - the cops are busy making money in the car and traffic business.
